New movement by Meebo. Anyone who was at once a Multi Webmessenger, who subsequently added support for contacts via chat sites Plugoo-style, and then took out their rooms, plug in websites, now aims to support social networks.
Its new product is called instant messaging community, and it aims to support those offering social service network chat. For us understand better, at the launch of this new service, Meebo has a number of partners to add on their websites support chat similar to Facebook Chat. Then, users who participate in some of these social networks that have been associated with Meebo, we can stay in touch via chat with our friends own their own social networks.
In addition, it allows us to abandon the website of the social network, our own staying active chat session through which we can, so to speak, take off our windows of talks, so that we can continue our discussions later, even receive new requests for friendship or communicated's own social network. I still need to investigate this chat service, because currently not find it incorporated into some of the networks of partners participating in the launch.
The partners involved in this release are: DanceJam, Flixster, myYearbook, Nickelodeon, Piczo, SparkArt, Sugar Publishing and Tagged. The existing business model is to offer free service financed by advertising, where both Meebo as the lead partner advertising revenue shared equally: 50/50.
